Hello! This is a page about philthelia. Here I share some albums that I've been working as well as interesting materials I find.

The ideal is pretty simple (although ambitious)
create albums of Germany and each occupied country during WWII.
In other words this is basically a philately study considering the WWII scenario.

Austria (Anschluss)
Austrian stamps ceased circulation, and regular German stamps were used after annexation.

Czechoslovakia (Bohemia and Moravia)
Overprints on Czechoslovak stamps with "Böhmen und Mähren" marked the establishment of the German Protectorate. -
Poland (Generalgouvernement)
Polish stamps were overprinted or replaced by new designs issued by the German administration. -
Memel / Lithuania (Klaipėda Region)
After German occupation in March, overprinted Lithuanian and German stamps with "Memel" were issued; later replaced by standard German issues.

Czechoslovakia (Bohemia and Moravia)

Denmark
Stamps remained Danish; no specific German overprints were introduced during occupation. -
France (Alsace-Lorraine)
Overprints were introduced in Alsace and Lorraine. -
Norway
Norwegian stamps were overprinted, and German-influenced designs emerged later. -
Netherlands
Stamps were overprinted with "Nederlandsche Post" under German administration. -
Belgium
Overprints with "Belgien" and later new issues with German iconography appeared. -
Luxembourg
Local stamps overprinted with "Deutsches Reich"; regular German stamps used subsequently. -
Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey)
Locally produced stamps featured regional symbols, such as the Guernsey lily, during German occupation.

Yugoslavia
Following invasion and partition, overprinted stamps were used in Serbia ("Serbien") and Croatia issued its own stamps as a German ally. -
Greece
Regional overprints appeared in Crete and mainland Greece under Axis occupation. -
Soviet Union (Occupied territories)
Stamps were overprinted for Reichskommissariats: Ukraine and Ostland. These included reworked Soviet designs. -
Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)
Integrated into Reichskommissariat Ostland. Local stamps were overprinted before German designs replaced them.
Note: Memel had been annexed in 1939 but continued to issue overprints in 1941.

Italy (Italian Social Republic - RSI)
Stamps issued under German occupation included "G.N.R." (Guardia Nazionale Repubblicana) and RSI overprints.

Allied Military Government (AMG) issued stamps in liberated areas such as Friuli Venezia Giulia.

France (1940–1944, Vichy France and German-occupied zone)
Vichy France continued with its own stamps, while the occupied zone used regular French stamps without overprints. -
Baltic Coast Regions (e.g., Danzig, Memel)
Danzig: Local issues were overprinted after incorporation into the Reich, followed by standard German usage.
